Description

Hello, we're Julia and Adam - a couple in our 30's, from Manchester in the UK and from March 2025 we have a two year visa for Canada. We're travelling, volunteering and working and looking for experiences that give us a closer view of places and connections to local people. I enjoy being useful and giving something back to hosts and take great joy in meeting new people, sharing experiences and stories :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As a couple we've got a good range of skills that are hopefully useful to you!
- Pet sitting (cats, rabbits, any kind of small and fluffy!) or dog walking, Julia was a dog walker/sitter back in the UK
- Cooking and baking - we're vegan but you wouldn't be able to tell from some of our cakes :)
- Cleaning / general housekeeping
- Basic gardening; weeding, planting, watering, mowing a lawn etc
- Basic house handy skills; painting, putting up photo/picture frames on a wall, basic plumbing and furniture assembly

In the UK Adam was a Theatre Technician (lighting and sound) and Julia a Project Manager, and in our spare time we like spending time outside; running, hiking, sailing, cycling or board games if we're inside! We're sociable and love meeting new people :)
