Description

Hello! My name is Julia and I'm 20 years old. I finished secondary school last year and now I'm on a gap year. My goal is travel to new places I've never been before, meet new people, and help out :).
I love the sea and the sun ☀️🌊. I grew up beside the sea and one of my mum's favourite stories that she tells is of me when I was about three years old, as soon as I saw the sea, I would run as fast I could whilst taking all my clothes off at the same time, running naked towards the water. And my love for water has stayed but I don't run naked on the beach anymore 👍.
I've also always loved art and music. I draw and play the piano. I love animals too 🫶
I'm figuring out my major in college at the moment but I generally gravitate towards humanities subjects, especially languages, history and also psychology, sociology, politics, and law.
I'm also a quite spiritual person, I practice yoga and meditation and have an open mind to different ways of thinking. i always try to become the most healed and happy version of myself 💗.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have some experience with customer service from working in a pharmacy for about 5 months. I'm on my way to become a TEFL certified teacher and I have enrolled in a 6 week certified barista course as I have huge passion for coffee (mostly for drinking it :)!). In April I'm starting training to become a Samaritans listening volunteer, it's a charity that provides a listening service to people in emotional distress.
I speak two languages fluently, Polish, English, and I learned Spanish in secondary school. I like learning languages and I'm learning French at the moment. I have basic cooking skills and I'm always looking to improve, maybe we can share recipes.
I've also played piano since I was 10 and I've always loved music and art. I clean around the house often and I like to have a clean space. I also have some experience with construction from one of my workaways. I built a wooden fence, made a path in the garden from bricks and completed other projects. I also love animals. I've been around animals since I was very young, we've always had pets in our house whether it's a dog, cat, or hamsters. I'm glad to help with anything, painting walls, cooking, gardening, collecting fruit etc. whatever the situation calls for. I would like to learn new skills as well.
