Hi there!
My name is Josey, and I am a very outgoing, friendly, and spontaneous 25 year old.
I love to travel, go on road trips, backpack, and go rafting. I have been living in Colorado for the past year doing different seasonal work, such as rafting, conservation corps, and working with ice sculptures. Right now I am in California doing disaster relief work and will be returning to Colorado in mid-September, but am looking to go anywhere nearby Colorado!

From my extensive involvement with a disaster relief organization, I have acquired many construction skills. I have worked on roofs, I have helped build a deck, I have been involved in concrete pours and laying of concrete blocks and am very confident in finishing work such as mudding, painting, and installing such things as trim baseboards and door jams. l am very handy with tools and can confidently use most power tools. I am very creative and artistic and love DIY projects.
I have also been in many leadership positions teaching these kind of skills so I am very keen to teaching and providing support to people who are learning new skills.

I am currently studying Elementary and Special Education and after getting my bachelors I would like to get my masters in Disaster Management. I wish to one day be able to provide education and assist in areas that have just been affected by natural disasters. I have done lots of disaster relief work in areas affected by hurricanes and tornados. I have been volunteering since I was 12 years old and have experienced every type of service work I can, so I am very open minded to any type of work!
