Hello! My name is Jacob and I am a 21 year old college student currently living in Berkeley, California. I am currently studying Psychology at San Francisco State University. I am passionate about mental health, connecting with people, and doing meaningful work that supports others and the environment. I love working with the earth and being outdoors. I enjoy hiking, exploring nature, and climbing frequently. I also love to involve myself in creative ways such as writing poetry, playing music, or reading. I value spaces where people can share stories, ideas, and perspectives.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience working with people in active, supportive, and educational environments. I spent two summers at a sleep-away camp working as both a counselor and supervisor, where I taught kids and adults how to surf, stand-up paddleboard, and kayak, and developed strong leadership and customer service skills. I also worked recently as a behavior technician with children on the autism spectrum, where I gained experience with applied behavior analysis, and learned how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable to individual needs. I have strong communication skills, and am empathetic, kind, and respectful of all people. I work well with others, enjoy being part of a team, and genuinely love helping people. I am also very excited at the prospect of learning new skills and expanding my horizons.

I have loved playing chess recently and even though I am not the best at it, I would love to play anyone I meet in a game of chess. I also love reading and would love any recommendations you have for books you enjoy, and the same goes for music. I also love volleyball, basketball, surfing, and indoor and outdoor climbing. I am a huge fan of movies as well.
