Help a young family create their permaculture valley near Kaposvár, Hungary

  Description

  We are a family of three living in a beautiful village in Southern Hungary. We moved here in July 2026 and since then we've been fascinated with the surrounding nature. There are nearby forests, lakes, meadows, and lots of things that we haven't discovered yet. If you enjoy rural life and wondering around in the nature, you won't be disappointed here.
  We still have a lot to complete around our house, but life is generally comfortable the way we can live here now. We have a valley in our backyard which we have started to cultivate. We are still experimenting with plants to know which types bring good produce in the valley's microclimate.
  As workaway hosts we are seeking help with household activities and gardening. Additionally, our 2-year-old son would also be eager to spend time occasionally with a new family friend and playmate.
  We would be most happy with somebody of Greek origin as we have a deep interest in the Greek language and traditions. Mom studied in Lefkosia and in Thessaloniki and speaks Greek at a humble conversational level, dad knows a few words in Greek. We are excited about connecting with people and hosting them, even if for just short time. We would be most happy to find connections that last and later could visit each other now and then.

  We can give you a room with a bed, desk and wardrobe. It's within the family house.
  We usually cook for ourselves, but on some busy days we order or eat in the city.
