Les activités qui m'intéressent :

I'm most interested in volunteering with an NGO this summer.
However, my favourite hobbies are anything music related and playing casual sports, so I'd love any activity involving either of these.

Description

Hi! My name is Jessica, I'm a Canadian currently in university.

We have nice long summers breaks between university years, so I usually try to get up to as much adventuring as I can during that time.
My main pass-times are music and trying whatever new activity I can. It's a struggle to avoid singing, strumming a guitar, or playing piano. If there's a random dance class, workshop, or expedition, you can count me in :)

I am three out of four years through a mathematics and statistics degree, so I'm particularly looking for volunteer opportunities where I could potentially use academic skills to help out (preferably with an NGO).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have plenty experience teaching music! I love to perform as well.
I've also learned data analysis, coding, and how to teach mathematics through university. In terms of paid work I've done program coordination, hospitality (bartending + serving), and teaching piano.

I've done a year of travelling on my own so I know how it goes. I haven't done any workaways yet but I'm eager to get my hands dirty! In general, I'm always up for a challenge, have a good work ethic and I'm good at staying positive.
