Hei!

I’m Jenny, from a steepmountain sheepfarm in a tiny village on the west coast of Norway. At this farm we have been hosting workawayers the past 10 years. Growing up as hosts I have gained some understanding of how wonderful Workaway is as a help for hosts and culture exchange both ways. It's about time to give some back and experience sitting on the other side of the table. I’m used to manual work and animals, and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. I hope that my knowledge and experience can be of help for hosts here, at the same time as I really look forward to be learning alot and gaining new skills.

I have different work experience during and after taking a bachelor in Social work. This work varies from administring studentwelfare, to guiding, planning and assisting activities for children of different ages.

I have a strong interest in outdoor activities and like to be active going skiing, hiking, swimming or bouldering, etc. At the same time I can absolutely enjoy a quiet evening playing boardgames or watching a good movie.

Even though farming would be the field I have the most experience in, I’m also interested in other kinds of work; hospitality, housesitting, DIY and gardening, babysitting etc. The main goals are to get out of the comfortzone, learn something new, meet new people and of course help out where we can.
