Hi! My name is Julia, and I'm a 26-year-old aspiring author. I've been working in the Communications and Marketing field for the past few years after studying Spanish and Science Communications in college. I'm looking for an experience that will open my worldview, expose me to a new culture, challenge my personal development, fuel my creativity, and allow me to practice my Spanish. I grew up in New Jersey but moved to Denver, Colorado, after college, and I've fallen in love with the mountains. I enjoy spending time outdoors whether that be hiking, skiing, playing tennis, or just taking a nice walk in the sunshine.

Right now, I'm working on a passion project—a book about womanhood, the menstrual cycle, the moon, and magical powers. It might sound a little ridiculous, but it's something I'm truly passionate about, and I'm hoping that whatever WorkAway experience I have will help inspire my story! I'm in a stage of life right now where I can lean into my writing and spend some time finding a deeper connection with myself. I'm hopeful that staying with a WorkAway host will be an integral and beautiful part of the process.

I have years of experience in the Communications and Marketing world and am pursuing a Masters degree in writing. Skills include: editing, writing, social media creation, strategic planning

I'm an active, outdoorsy person with considerable strength and stamina. I could be an asset for anyone looking for somebody who can do some manual labor.

I also love to write songs and sing, so if you happen to be looking for some entertainment or creative vibes, I could provide that! :)

I'm someone looking for a meaningful experience with the intention of building connections and truly immersing myself in wherever I end up. I'm a big believer in mindfulness and practice a lot of yoga. I'm also a huge dog-lover and have a keen interest in plant life.
