Hi! My name is Jassen, I am a recently graduated Master's student that is seeking to solo travel for the first time. I am new to workaway and would love to experience this 'lifestyle.' I love getting to meet new people and I really want to immerse myself into the culture of where ever I travel to. I love to swim, cook, play guitar, read, and more! I also love art and culture related activities, like art galleries, and I recently started going to operas. I would love to meet you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
In terms of manual work, I am decently handy, but more importantly I am a fast learner. I have done some painting and some woodwork in the past. I was a National Champion in U.S. collegiate swimming (would love to share my swimming stories!), so I am physically fit and can work hard.
I also love to work with kids, and have prior experience with it too. I have worked and even led multiple swim clinics, as well as private lessons, working to teach kids to swim with better technique.
I also love animals! I've always wanted a dog, and I've taken care of one of my family friend's dog for a few months. I also have a cat at home (well, my brother does, but I help take care of her).
I grew up in the US, and I am also a good English speaker, for those looking for cultural exchange. On my high school test, the SAT, I got a perfect 800 on the English section. I also tutored some of my friends through college in English. I also lived in the Bay Area, the 'tech capital of the world,' and went to college in Indiana, so I have many stories to share across America.
