Always excited to learn new things and experience new places and cultures, and to hopefully do some good in the process. I really enjoy talking about the culture and history of different parts of the world, and am happiest when I am taking steps to better understand and help in whatever small way possible communities from far away.

I am interested in teaching and/or learning languages as part of a workaway. As a native speaker, I am open to teaching English, though I do not have experience in doing-so. I do however have teaching experience in Maths and Physics and believe that I am good at helping students understand topics of relevance.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am in my final year of a physics degree and have experience as a teacher of maths and physics to school-aged children, so teaching is something I really enjoy and think I am good at. I have done two exchanges in the past, one in Canada and the other in Spain. For my time in Spain, I lived with a Peruvian family that spoke no English, and learned to live and communicate using only Spanish. Although my recent jobs have been on astrophysical research, I also worked for a few years in hospitality in my rural hometown, so have experience working with tourists and holidaymakers. I also have some experience gardening. Overall I think I am a very adaptable person, and enjoy 'learning on the job' as much as I can.

I like sports and enjoy using them as a means to meet new people. I am particularly keen on football (soccer), although I also like many other sports such as tennis. I like to read, play guitar, fish and go on trips to see new places.
