Description

My name is Ines, I am half French, half Moroccan and currently living in sunny California, USA. I am fluent in French and English, and a beginner in Spanish and Japanese. I find languages fascinating to study/learn and I am always looking to strengthen my language skills when I can.

I am a huge nature lover, with a deep respect for our Mother Earth and all the sentient beings it harbors. I am kind, compassionate and always up for some new adventures and stepping out of my comfort zone.

For the past 9 years, I've been working in hospitality/high end customer service. I am now looking to open up a new chapter in my life and find my purpose elsewhere. I have been wanting to travel and volunteer my time to causes dear to me or to help others in need and I hope to be able to do just that through this platform.

I have obtained a working-holiday visa for Japan and will move there in March 2025. Looking forward to the endless possibilities for adventures this new year!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

-I am fluent in French and English. I am able to tutor people in these languages if need be.
-I have 7 years of experience as a nanny. I have taken care of children aged 0 to 12 years old.
-I have a First Aid and CPR certification.
-I have work experience in both restaurants and hotels, as well as in an airport for multiple airlines. My customer service/hospitality skills are well honed. I actually held a title of manager for the past 3 years at my last job.
-I have a Food Handler certification (from the state of California).
-I have some barista skills and knowledge of how to work an espresso machine. Not quite the latte artist just yet but could get there soon with added practice.
-I am a good cook and I love trying out new recipes.
-I have experience as a pet sitter as well, having taken care of cats, dogs, and even rabbits in the past.
-I'm a quick learner and have great problem solving skills.

I am a very easy going person with lots of different hobbies/interests both indoors and outdoors. I love getting cozy with a book for hours as much as I love swimming in pools, rivers, lakes, or oceans for hours too. I find walking to be my therapy and the best way to quiet my active brain while also re-energizing myself. The same goes for riding my bike.
I absolutely love playing board games and card games, as well as some video games. I would love to learn how to tend to a garden. I have some basic knowledge of it passed down from my grandfather but sadly I do not have my own garden yet to put these skills to practice.
