My name is Ilaria, I'm a 34 year old girl.
I currently live in a region of northern Italy with goats, dogs and cats.

I studied architecture and worked for a few years in that field, then after the "Camino de Santiago" I decided to quit and change. I worked in communications and events and then as a middle school teacher. But that still wasn't my path... I always felt the need for an outdoor life and work that would allow me to move and use my hands and arrive at night tired (not from the stress of phone calls or eyes in front of the computer!).

A year ago I started growing a small vegetable garden and for a while now I have also been trying to learn to recognise wild plants out of curiosity and for edible ones to use in the kitchen.

I would like to delve into all aspects of a life immersed in nature, to acquire knowledge in natural farming, in particular permaculture, beekeeping, gathering and processing medicinal herbs and also the cultivation of mushrooms or microgreens.

I like the idea of leading a simple lifestyle, my dream is to live in a place where I can grow most of the products I eat, cook outdoors over a fire, have a shower in nature, harvest herbs in the forest and live outdoors as much as possible.

I enjoy exploring, meeting people who have different unconventional lifestyles and learning to see new possibilities than we have always been used to.

Every journey is an occasion for research within myself and outside, confrontation and sharing is a step for a continuous growth and change.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I took a degree as architect and I also worked as architect for some years, then I change and I started working in the communicationand events field, I've also teached at school but I always felt that my interests were in nature. And now I would like to follow my real needs and attitude.
I have good skill in manual work and problem solving. I have experience in farming both with animals and with vegetable garden.
