  I love gardening and am interested in Permaculture. Have travelled reasonably well and am open to new people and cultures.
  
  Greytown is a lovely little historic village, with great access to a beautiful region. It's become a bit of a tourist town.
  
  It's got great shopping and really friendly locals. If you are looking for a summer job then you'll be snapped up quickly, and I can help with this.
  
  Wairarapa has a lot going for it and there is public transport.

  Aide

  This is a short stay listing- one week. A place to stay on your way to somewhere else. Just over an hour from the Inter Island ferry. Perfect if you are switching Islands.
  
  It isn’t Wellington, even though it is called the Wellington region. There is a big hill called the Rimitakas between us. Wairarapa is more like the countryside, with small towns.
  
  I would like help in the house and garden. The house is older, lovely, and needs a good tidy up.
  
  I can teach you about edible weeds, and food crops.
  
  It’s a new, large Permaculture garden. Plenty of planting out. Seed sowing. Harvesting. Looking after poultry.
  
  Please only apply if you can self manage and get on with stuff without too much direction. I’ll show you the place, and you should be able to see what needs to be done.
  
  Abundant vegetables, eggs, and herbs. You will eat a rainbow!
  
  You will need to be fine with pet meat and steak smells. Vegetarians have tried, and whilst they loved their salads, and flowers, the smell of steak was hard for some them.
  
  Also, my child will be fascinated by you, you MUST like children to be happy here. Please do not apply if you do not have experienced LIVING with children.
  
  Must love dogs. They bark.

  Hébergement

  There are boxes of books everywhere. Hope you like reading :-) Would love help shifting the books around.
  
  Your room is the office, with a double bed. Comfy. We can make it more private, with your help. It’s all yours after 8:30pm. During the day it will be used.
  
  Non-smoking.
  
  Due to strong interest I would prefer you have a plan formulated and a good reason to visit Greytown before you make contact. This is mainly because I'm answering many emails with too broad date ranges.
  
  Please do not send generic requests as I probably can't make a decision until closer to the time. Short notice is actually easier!
  
  Please commit. I understand plans change, but I will supermarket shop in preparation for you. Only contact me if you are definitely coming.

  This listing is best suited to people on there way to somewhere else & would like a little break in a beautiful location. There are many wonderful things to do locally. Wine, olives, fishing, hunting, tramping, cycling, more. I will help as much as I can.
