I have been travelling for the better part of the last decade with mostly infrequent trips home to the USA.
I'm a very relaxed person with a good sense of humour.
My degree was in English Literature so I do enjoy sitting down to a glass of wine and a good book.
I suppose that I'm sort of the quiet type.

I possess most of the basic gardening talents along with a wide variety of other skills which I have picked up along my volunteering travels.
I suppose that the best description of myself which I could give of myself is "jack of all trades, master of none" (ok, maybe not all).
I'm always game to try something I haven't done before.

I'm not a great fan of urban life (2+ years in London was plenty)

Thomas was very helpful during his short time here. it was easy to work with him and he brought a positive influence into our environment.
He was adaptable and very flexible regarding the work along with being very attentive to making sure that the kitchen, bathroom and living area were clean at the end of the day.

Thomas has been with us for more than four months and is definitely one of our favorite volunteers.
He is very reliable and has been an excellent caretaker of the villa.
During the time he has spent here I feel that he has become a great friend of ours and we look forward to seeing him again.

'At last' you will say Thomas. Thomas helped me for two visits last summer. He is very well educated and excellent company. He is not only a capable and willing worker on smallish tasks but also well suited to the organisation and supervision of bigger projects.

hello thomas, i often wonder if you found your italian woman. i had a great one this summer visiting from Bergamo.... hope all is well, i often mention you. make sure you visit us soon, your well weeded strawberry patch is no more, you weren't there. but for a season, and because of you, we enjoyed strawberries all season long.

Tom was a very pleasant and willing worker who has a nice personality that enabled us to enjoy a good working relationship and a good social interaction. His excellent standard of fluency in the Italian language was an added bonus to his time with us.

My only regret is that the weather prevented me from helping out. more than I did.
