Description

Hello! I’m Heloise, from Belgium.
This May, I’ll be leaving my home country to discover Nepal, a journey I’ve been dreaming about for a long time. I’ll begin with a yoga teacher training and a trek in the Himalayas.

After these first two months, I would love to volunteer somewhere in the region and learn more about everyday Nepalese life. That’s why Workaway feels like the perfect way to make this adventure meaningful.

I’m an enthusiastic and curious person who loves learning new skills, meeting inspiring people, and helping wherever I can. I value authentic connections, shared experiences, and contributing to projects with a purpose.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m 21 years old and recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Engineering, with a focus on sustainable development. I’ve always loved discovering new places and cultures, and I’ve had the chance to travel to several countries.

When I was 17, I volunteered for two weeks on an eco‑farm in Belgium. During that time, I helped build an outdoor compost toilet, created a vegetable garden, did general gardening work, and assisted with small repairs around the property. It was my first real experience with hands‑on ecological projects, and I absolutely loved it.

I also spent many years in the scouts, where I learned to be independent, and respectful of nature. Outdoor life feels very natural to me. I’m also passionate about hiking and have experience in different environments, including the Pyrenees in France, the Swiss Alps, and the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and soon the Himalayas! :)

Overall, I’m motivated, curious, and not afraid of physical work. I like learning new skills and contributing to meaningful projects.
