Hello, I'm Gustav and I'm 24 years-old currently residing in Gothenburg, Sweden, in a co-housing. I work weekends as a camp leader for kids and adults with intellectual disabilities as part of a welfare program. It is something I find meaningful and very fun! I strive to be an open-minded, conscious, and joyful human being. I find true purpose in spending time with the rest of living things in nature, and in being around great people to share good times, knowledge, and solidarity. I enjoy doing physical work and co-operating in the joy of creation. I love meeting new people to share experiences and companionship. At the same time, I like to be independent and have no problem doing tasks alone and spending time by myself. Other than that, I enjoy running, reading, hiking, surfing, playing the guitar, and doing yoga. Music is a big passion for me, it's one of the greatest gifts in life.

I love traveling and seeing different cultures and ways to organise society or a community. I have a great interest in cultures through time and space. I have travelled quite extensively, to Kenya, Spain, Italy, Sri Lanka, Greece, Sahrawi refugee camps, and New York, just to name a few. I want to explore what life is like in a community focusing on self-sufficiency, and learn practical stuff regarding self-sufficiency and sustainable living. I find true value in knowing where your food and the things you use come from.

I have one previous experience doing WWOOFing on an off-grid farm in Sardinia, which was something I truly enjoyed. Looking forward to new adventures!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have some knowledge of general maintenance, landscaping, painting, and gardening skills. I dare to say I have a good physique (I used to work as a mover), and I don't mind putting myself to work

I have helped out organizing many different kinds of events, music festivals, UN roleplay conferences, and workshops, doing this and that. As mentioned earlier, I have one previous experience with volunteering farm through WWOOF Italy.

I am a fast learner, and I'm very much open to learning more about living on a farm and the skills needed. I am especially interested in learning more about carpentry and building projects. I have many years of experience working with childcare, disability care, and elderly care, which means I believe I'm a good companion, and I try my best to be as understanding towards people as possible. I also think I am quite an alright chef!
