Hello, I’m Greta!

I’m an eager and curious traveler looking to deepen my understanding of our beautiful planet. While earning my college degree, I became increasingly aware of the pollution and waste created by manufacturing processes. That realization sparked my passion for environmental efforts and sustainable living.

I’m now traveling to explore sustainability in a hands-on way. To learn how climate change affects different parts of the world and discover the diverse approaches people are taking to address it. I’m especially interested in projects related to fibers and textiles, waste reduction, permaculture, organic farming, and self-sufficient living, but I’m open to any opportunity that contributes to a more sustainable future.

I hold a degree in Apparel Design, with strong skills in sewing, textiles, and design, and I’d love to contribute these wherever is helpful. Beyond that, I’m happy to assist with a wide range of tasks including physical work, gardening, cooking, baking, and cleaning. I’m a fast learner who enjoys gaining new skills! For example, I have limited experience working with animals but I'm really excited about the opportunity to learn more and become more confident working with them.

For me, the most meaningful part of traveling is the people you meet and the lessons you share. There’s something special about turning strangers into friends in just a few days. I aim to bring my best self, who is respectful, hardworking and openminded, to you and hope I can make a difference in your life the way you may in mine.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am very skilled in sewing and other handicrafts. I'm pretty good with computers, especially design software like Adobe illustrator, InDesign and Canva. I have experience working in gardens and a small bit with animals but have lots of room to grow! I can paint, decorate and do general maintenance and physical labor.

I love to swim, dance, sing and go on lots of hikes -- I love being anywhere near the water! I am an environmentalist and I would love to learn more about your connection with the Earth and your community. I love to play card games and am always excited to learn new games of any sort.
