Description

Hi, I'm Ruby. I'm a recent university graduate who loves spending time outside and exploring new places, and have been traveling in New Zealand for the last five months. Some of my interests include horseback riding (showjumping, dressage and endurance racing), snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking/spending time outside, and reading or listening to podcasts. I'm interested in traveling to places that allow me to combine my interests and skills. I've had multiple positive experiences working on horse farms and permaculture farms. I also enjoy working with children and have experience babysitting, nannying, volunteering in schools, and being a camp counselor. Travel inspires me to see the world through other perspectives and I love the connections and experiences that come with expanding your comfort zone.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm a horsewoman of 15 years and have experience in endurance racing, dressage, barrel racing/gymkhana events, and the hunter/jumper world. I've been training horses for five years and teaching horseback riding lessons for seven. I've worked with a wide variety of horses ranging from upper level dressage horses to unstarted youngsters to rescue horses and working with equines truly is my passion.
I work extremely well with children and have been a camp counselor for three summers in addition to a nanny and teaching children's horseback riding lessons as well. I have great customer service skills and work well in high pressure situations. I've been a field managing volunteer for USA Cup, the northern hemisphere's largest youth international soccer tournament, for seven years and am proficient at juggling multiple tasks at once.
I am extremely neat and organized.

Hmmm, not sure what else to add... I'm a chronic coffee drinker, I love to work out and go on trail runs, and have ran half marathons in the past. I'm good at making friendship bracelets. I love to learn new things and truly enjoy being a student. And, like most others, I'm thrilled when I get the opportunity to connect with like minded individuals.
