Hi there! :D

My name is Fanny, I’m 26 years old and from Aarhus, Denmark. I’ve just completed my Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, and after 5 years of intense studying I’m excited to take a step back from the academic world to explore new places and meet new people!

I’m a very active person, I love playing football, running, hiking, and generally keeping myself busy. I also really enjoy working with my hands, whether that’s DIY projects, gardening, or helping out around the house. Creativity is a big part of me, and I’m always up for trying something new and learning along the way.

Animals hold a special place in my heart. I grew up on a small farm with horses, and I really miss having animals in my daily life. Being around them again, and maybe even riding, would be wonderful!

What I want from my Workaway experience is a chance to grow, connect, and experience life from a new perspective. I’m positive, responsible, curious, and easy-going, and I’m looking forward to new experiences where I can both help and learn!

Practical and hands-on: Comfortable with DIY projects, painting, basic repairs, gardening, and general household tasks.

Animal care: Grew up with horses and other farm animals, confident around animals and happy to help with feeding, grooming, or stable chores.

Adaptable and eager to learn: Open to trying new tasks and learning on the go, from helping on farms to assisting in kitchens or supporting creative projects.

Languages: Fluent in Danish and English, basic German, and always happy to practice new languages.

Creative and active: I enjoy painting, knitting, and other crafts, as well as sports like football, running, and hiking.
