Hi my name is Ethan, I’m 29 years old from New York, and I’m excited to get started on this workaway journey, get involved on some cool workaway projects, be in service to community, and hopefully get to play my guitar and sing for you all!

I think I bring a lot to the table. I have a passion for service, and being a source of uplift for others. Physical fitness is also a very important aspect of my life, I’m especially into yoga and dance, as well as basketball, so I’m eager to get into the mud, and apply these physical skills to projects in agriculture and building.

More formally, my background and education is in writing, both formal and creative writing, as well as editing. This comes from a deep passion for books and the English language--I tend to absorb that stuff very well. I’ve served as an editor and writer in content creation on numerous projects—I can do all things related to social media, written content, website design, I also have many skills in digital multimedia, graphic design, and have put together many kinds of full-suite multimedia projects in my time.

I’m also said to be very sunny, positive, a quick sense of humor—I do love a sense of wit, and having deep, interesting conversations with people.

My long term aspiration and passion is in music, audio and sound, this is ultimately my main dream in life. About a year and a half ago, somewhat out of the blue, I became called to the path of music and music production. I've been in the pursuit ever since, and am thrilled to say that my work is now published on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora and all other streaming platforms :) much more material in the works!

I also make "sound machines","sound baths" and other sound-healing audio--now on streaming platforms as "Upward Sound Culture". I hold a certification in Multi-Instrument Sound Healing--it's a big passion of mine!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'd like to think I'm a very capable writer. I'm also growing quite a lot on the technical side of music/audio production. I'll be traveling with my music and recording setup, microphone, audio gadgets, a "portable recording studio" that can open many possibilities!

I'm deep into meditation, yoga, as well as integral theory inspired by Ken Wilber. I love to write, draw, and doodle--a very creative dude, I can say. I'm in excellent shape, work out regularly, and am more than capable working in the garden, sanding tiny homes, digging mulch, piling mulch, shoveling mulch into buckets--it's all about the mulch, one realizes at a certain point :))
