ESTEFANIA- I’m a Mexican girl who has lived in six different countries, which has given me a deep appreciation for diverse communities and perspectives. I played professional football for 7 years, an experience that taught me discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Volunteering is very important to me; my family taught me that we’re here to help others and make a positive impact. I’m happiest when I’m spending time with my family, traveling, staying active through sports, or volunteering. I also enjoy slowing down through creative outlets like arts and crafts, colouring books, and building LEGO sets, which help me recharge and stay inspired.
Since I was a young girl, one of my biggest dreams has been to take an extended break to travel while actively helping the communities I visit. I’m excited to finally be able to pursue this goal and cross it off my bucket list in a meaningful way. (:
MARTIN- I'm a guy from Sweden who has spent most of his life focusing on studies and work. I've always dreamt about traveling more and taking a sabbatical to explore the world. In life I am very passionate about people and culture. I found my way from being a Software Engineer to work within HR to pursue those topics. Mainly working on the softer sides of companies, about leadership, culture, diversity, growth etc. Super inspiring and I am grateful to work with colleagues from all over the world. Now being able to take time off from work to really explore and work even closer with supporting people feels amazing.
On my off time I really like a good book, playing table top games with friends and spend time climbing or at the gym.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
MARTIN- Deep experience within HR and IT/Digital (HR and central products). A lot of experience in teaching (both formal education and practical experience teaching both kids and adults internally at Volvo).
Reliable, authentic and honest. Very passionate and driven.
My main experience has been working as a homework assistant and mentor (for studies) for high-school and below. The youngest kids I supported were around 10-12 years old.
ESTEFANIA- Teamwork, discipline, creativity, emotional intelligence and leadership.
- Mass Communications (broadcasting and production) background, professional football player for 7 years.
-Through university I volunteered with “Boys and Girls Club”, a non-profit organization in the US that helps kids with afterschool activities creating a safe environment for them. I was part of the staff and I helped with sport related activities, arts and crafts, and in the kitchen.
- I was a middle school English teacher for 10 months in the countryside of Puebla, Mexico.
- I worked as a camp counsellor and football coach in football clinics for kids at University of South Florida.
