My biggest motivation in life is travelling and meeting people from all over the world. I am using workaway to help me connect with some of these amazing people, and to work on fulfilling and meaningful projects. I have used Couchsurfing whilst travelling around Europe and met some fantastic people and fell in love with solo travelling – because you never really are alone!
I love being outdoors, wild swimming (all year round), camping, hiking, cooking, and organising adventures and activities!Centres d’intérêt

I have a masters degree in Civil Engineering and have worked on construction sites as an engineer on three diverse projects: road reallignment (installing cycleways, sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS), and bus shelters in Cardiff City Centre); bridge demolition and reconstruction works (across a fast-flowing river in the Welsh valleys), and a coastal protection and flood defence scheme in Swansea, Wales. I hope that some of my workaway experiences might utilise my love for construction, and I hope to learn more about bioconstruction and sustainable construction practices.
I am a native English speaker and would love to teach English to learners of all ages! I speak Spanish to an intermediate level and am hoping to improve it whilst in South America.
I love cooking and would love to share my favourite recipes and help out with the cooking.
I have experience in organising and leading activities for groups and helping to run societies (outdoor swimming and international) at my university.
I have several years of hospitality experience working front of house in various restaurants and cafes. I have also volunteered at a festival where I helped to arrange backstage operations, ensuring artists and crew had everything they needed, and drove buggies around site transporting people and equipment.Âge

I had the pleasure to stay at this place for just over 3 weeks (initially only planed to stay for 2 weeks) during the Christmas and new year period. I have never felt more welcomed in a place whilst travelling - not just by the lovely family taking care of the farm whilst Benito was away - but also from all the locals in the little… read more
