Hey there I’m Dylan!

I’m a 23 year old Australian backpacking around Europe, recently having completed an undergraduate in psychology and looking to have more meaningful and involved travel experiences.

My primary passion involves working with/in nature, having a keen interest in conservation, horticulture, permaculture, mycology and sustainable/regen/organic farming However, I’m very enthusiastic to expand my knowledge/experience and consider myself open minded to a wide range of skills and opportunities offered by Workaway hosts. Ultimately connecting with warm, genuine people is my goal, and helping out projects that have good intentions at the core.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have practical experience with commercial horticulture, harvesting/garden plot design/pruning/planting/mulching as part of a community garden and mushroom cultivation (a personal project).

In addition to gardening related experience, I have around 3 years hospitality experience as in bartending and waiting positions, so am well acquainted with making people feel at home and love a good chat.

With previous hosts I’ve done a little bit of woodwork, and would jump at the opportunity to learn (inc. construction/natural building techniques).

Apart from the interests listed above, I’m a keen musician and would love to jam with whoever’s keen, and can teach guitar and some piano to anyone who would like to learn:) Otherwise I love dancing (especially salsa), reading and yoga.
