hey folks, I'm Dustin. I'm from Northern Ireland. I love being on adventures. Currently in Guatemala, leaving for Iceland in a months time. I'm super excited, Iceland wasn't even on my radar until I saw it as a flight option and now I can't wait to arrive. I've heard it's cold and beautiful, almost like another planet one friend has told me, that's a hell of an experience. I love being of service to people, always there to be part of a community which is why I think I'm a decent lad to have as a volunteer. Meeting new people with different stories is always fun, I've hardly been away a few weeks and I've already met some amazing, wonderful, strange and unique individuals. Can't wait to meet more. I'd like to learn as many skills as possible if any hosts have anything interesting they would enjoy teaching me. I don't know even close to everything but I'm happy enough to figure it out and give something a go. I love cooking, especially for big groups of people. I love sitting at the table watching people munch down animal style on a meal you made, it's an honoured feeling. I like animals but that's a little basic, who doesn't. Yeah, I guess that's the jist of things. Always happy to have a chat in messages and answer anything people might want to know :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've done plenty of gardening in my life. My father owns a gardening company. I'm quite green thumbed and eager to figure new skills out. I've bartended, worked with horses, laboured to bricklayers, worked alongside an excavator, delivery drove, done odd jobs for hosts from Workaway. I'm quite eager and a hard worker, what I don't know I'll give a crack at and figure it out (maybe). I want to collect skills and experiences like Pokémon... for want of a better metaphor 😂
