Description

Hi! My name is Danshi, I'm 21, and I am traveling across Italy and France from September to November 2023; I'm looking for a travel buddy from mid-October to late-November (preferably: 18-25, female, please!!).

I'm originally from Virginia in the U.S., but I have always loved to travel.
I recently graduated from university and now hold a degree in Film and Television Studies, as well as Philosophy. I am a lifelong learner, which explains why I've decided to experience new cultures and meet new people here in Europe. In recent years, I've spent quite a bit of time in Montréal, Québec, so I speak a little French, but I'm always looking to improve and converse with native speakers. I also love music (I am a frequent concert-goer!), engaging in invigorating conversations, and cooking vegan food! I am excited to connect with people from all over the world and acquaint myself with different communities.

I have been taking French classes nearly all of my life, but I haven't had the opportunity to progress those skills by speaking with native speakers/not spending time in French-speaking countries/regions. However, I did live in Montréal for about 4 months this past summer, and I do believe my skills somewhat progressed.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Gardening and Land Maintenance -- I have spent 2 weeks in Central Italy clearing hiking paths, weeding, and tending to land. I also have some knowledge of olive pruning and harvesting.

Cooking -- I am an amateur "chef" and I have great experience preparing vegan dishes.

Team Oriented/Social -- I collaborate well and love interacting with people.

Creativity -- I am a hobbyist photographer and have experience with filming and various camera work.

Quick Learner -- I take direction well from being on set during long hours.

I am an avid reader and I really just love learning as much as I can from all different types of people, literature, and other media.

As previously mentioned, I go to quite a lot of concerts, so I would love to see some live music if possible!

I love cinema and would love to go to any film screenings!

I am interested in fashion and some aspects of design too.
