This coming autumn we're planning to visit Daniel's brother, who lives in Galicia, near Xove, and after a short visit with him we want to volunteer, explore new places, and meet even more people along

Description

Hello! We are Amit and Daniel, and recently we were joined by Yaari, who's a month old. We live in Kiryat Tivon, in a sweet house right next to a forest. We have a dog named Dez, and we love going on walks with him in the forest, as well as travelling to all kinds of places around our country. We're really simple people who enjoy being outdoors, in nature, admiring different kinds of trees, meeting new people and new cultures, playing cards together, and creating things together. Amit and I have been a couple for 3 years now — we're both somatic-psychotherapists, and we enjoy meeting new souls in the world.We also want to travel and meet new places.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both love working the land — growing vegetable gardens and orchards (we even have a fruit orchard and an olive grove that we built ourselves!). Amit studied landscape architecture, and on top of that she's a genuinely creative person — she makes jewellery from wood and other materials and has a real eye for design. She's also a certified photographer, so chances are she'll have her camera with her.

As for me, Daniel, I bring gardening, woodworking, and welding skills. I renovated a caravan into a home, which gave me hands-on experience with pretty much every relevant type of construction. In our orchard I built a lot of stone terraces using local stone, and to supplement our income I sometimes work as a gardener and take on home renovation jobs too. I love picking up new things and learn fast. I also play guitar, so if you're into jamming, I'd love to join in!

On top of that, we've both had various opportunities to work with goat herds, and Amit has experience with cheese-making and milking.

As mentioned, we'll be traveling with Yaari, who will be only about two months old at the time, and is still nursing and attached to his mother for most of the day. Because of that, Amit will be a bit more limited, and will be able to help with things that let her stay close to him. Daniel will be happy to work and help out with whatever you need!
