Hi, I’m Chiara, I’m 23, and I’m from Milan. My desire is to definitely move away from this city and find a better situation, closer to nature and to what I call a true life. I want to challenge myself, discover new realities, meet new people, and get in contact with manual activities.

I’m a simple and open-minded person; I’m cheerful and spontaneous. I’m very active and like to fill my days in any way I can, hiking, discovering hidden natural spots, swimming in the river. But I also enjoy taking peaceful moments, reading, doing meditation (I’ve just started but I would like to deepen this practice), sometimes watching a movie or just enjoying the natural melodies.

In the last four years, I’ve worked in the restaurant industry. Thanks to seasonal jobs, I’ve been able to move away from the city, but I’ve increasingly felt the necessity to do something more stimulating. When I faced up with agricolture I understood that manual activities gave me that kind of feelings. I think these activities are essential for managing life independently, but I also find them very relaxing, rewarding, and beneficial. In the not-too-distant future, I would like to convert a van and travel or at least live as much as possible in the middle of nature, so I’m ready to learn all I can to make it happen.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In 2022, I participated in a permaculture project on a finca in Tenerife. The activities involved gardening, preparing the fields for planting, planting, refurbishing, and general maintenance.
In 2023, I took part in a training project for agri-educators in Lodi, where I learned basic knowledge about agricultural techniques and social farming. Finally, we designed and created a small vegetable garden.
In 2025, I attended a short woodworking course in Milan, where I started to get familiar with hand tools as well as machinery like circular saws, band saws, and routers.
I don't have specific skills, but I am a proactive person, and I believe that often the best way to learn is by starting to do.
I am a social person, I love to be surrounded by people, work together as a team and i have a good problem-solving skill.
