Hi, I’m Celestina, a political science student on a quest for experiencing new things!

Here are a few things I love:
• Having people over and talking in the kitchen (it has to be in the kitchen)
• Goats
• Learning languages (currently studying Russian and Italian)
• Travelling (and as of lately, workaway-ing)
• Volunteering
• Excel sheets (I swear it helps with being organised)
• Music!!!!!!
• Studying for university and on my own

Things I have an aversion to:
• Feeling useless

Things I want to do in life:
• Read a lot
• Experience as much of life as possible

Hi, I’m Yury, a 22-year-old Russian guy passionate about a range of diverse things. I’m a political science student.

Here are a few things I love:
• Running and hiking (and I’d love to try cycling and trail running more seriously).
• Cinema and Photography and photo editing (my favourite creative outlet).
• History, history of art, and antiques (especially objects of material culture).
• Animals, especially dogs (I grew up with two Bernese Mountain Dogs, the kindest fluffy giants).

Things I have an aversion to:
• Lots of maths and excel sheets, I just get scared.

Things I want to do in life:
• Keep learning.
• Keep sharing knowledge.
• Stay curious, active, and kind.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Celestina

I used to be very artsy-crafty (DIY, drawing and painting, quilling etc,) and I still consider myself very patient and good with small manual jobs :)
I also used to do acting, piano and flute.
In terms of volunteering, I helped at a Ukrainian refugee center, participated in organising multiple cultural events, managed social media accounts (NGO, festivals) and did magazine editing.

Yury

• Languages, linguistics, and communication. I speak Russian, Italian, English, French, and German (in that order of proficiency). I understand Ukrainian, Latin, Polish, and Ancient Greek (also in order of proficiency).

• The humanities. I’ve tutored university students studying Russian and Russian literature. I’ve tutored students preparing a multilingual play, and I also acted (albeit as a complete amateur).

• Volunteering, (especially using my language skills). I have experience working in a refugee reception centre in Italy, as well as volunteering in a soup kitchen (charitable canteen for those in need). Having experienced a Christian upbringing, I believe in kindness and brotherly love between all human beings.

• Studying. I can be very meticulous, love going in depth, and enjoy paying attention to detail

• Hosting. I have experience managing a small mountain house Airbnb (cleaning, welcoming guests, small repairs and general problem-solving).

• Photography and photo editing, cinema. Both production and post-production.
