Description
Hey! I'm Candice, I'm 26 years old and from France! I'm travelling to Costa Rica for a month after leaving my high-stress high-pressure corporate job and before finding out what I want to do next. I've never been to South or Central America and wanted to discover a place with lush vegetation, a welcoming and zen atmosphere,and amazing nature and landscapes. I feel like there's no better place for me to be than Costa Rica at this time in my life.
I'm someone who loves to go with the flow and I always have a smile on my face. This solo trip is taking me out of my comfort zone but I plan on embracing this. I'm eager to use Workaway to meet people from various walks of life and cultures, learn more about nature, and the Costa Rican way of life.
A little more about me: I am creative by nature (ADHD has a lot to do with this most likely!) I’ve always loved singing and drawing but I’m much better at the first one. I truly enjoy yoga and meditation because they make me slow down and be in the present moment. Reading also helps me slow down, and I've started reading a lot more books in the past few years. I am happy when surrounded by animals and nature: I love my dog (a beautiful golden retriever) and I live in a place with lots of green space where I love going on walks with her. I love spending my energy on fun new activities. At home I run, play tennis and padel, and go on hikes. I'm looking forward to doing more of those in Costa Rica!!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have a lot of experience taking care of dogs and cats through owning pets and would love to take care of animals. I have some experience with horses and chicken as well.
I have a YouTube channel with 16000 subscribers that I manage on my own, so I have expertise in video editing, filming and writing scripts. Basically I can help with any kind of content creation and videography.
I enjoy photography. I've had a camera for 7 to 8 years and used to hold a photography account on Instagram called candicephoto, where I mostly photographed London in all its beauty!
I also love education. With my background in biology, English and French I can give classes or teach in those subjects.
I’m also able to help with gardening or anything around the house. I love putting my creativity to work so I would also enjoy anything requiring painting, drawing or designing.
