Hi! My name is Camilla, I’m 19 years old and I come from a small village in Umbria, Italy.
I decided to take a gap year to travel, meet new people, work, and explore different cultures before starting university. I’m a very curious person, I adapt easily to new situations, and I’m always eager to try new things. I’m open-minded and always ready to help!
I’ve never felt truly comfortable in the small village where I grew up — the mentality felt too closed for me. That’s one of the main reasons I chose to take this year: to finally “breathe again” after finishing school.
I’m hungry to travel and to meet people who can enrich my life in new and meaningful ways. I’m ready to experience different lifestyles, traditions, and activities with an open heart and mind.
I’ve always loved being in contact with nature and discovering new places. School also left me with some doubts about my future, so I feel the need to take a step back and open myself to new paths and opportunities.
My high school experience wasn’t the best, and now I want to live something that truly feels mine.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’ve done several small jobs while I was studying: I worked in the restaurant and hospitality field for about a year, and during the summer I helped out in different summer camps with children.
I’ve also done some basic DIY work at home, like painting and even building a small woodshed.
I’m really good with animals — I have five cats, two chickens, and a turtle! 🐱🐔🐢
I’ve also been practicing horse riding for the past five years, so I’m quite confident around horses and I’ve taken part in several countryside rides in the villages near my home.

I love reading and writing — since I was a child, I’ve had a deep passion for literature. I also feel deeply connected to meditation and spiritual philosophies in general. That's why I would love to find places where I can take part in retreats and deepen my knowledge in this area.
