Description

Hello! My name is Frankie! And my name is Alok! We are currently embarking on a sabbatical to explore the world and eat lots of delicious food along the way :)

Frankie's info:
I am motivated by curiosity, creativity, connection. I love engaging with plants, textiles, languages, food, and exploring different ways of existing in the world. I have a background in education, child care, filmmaking, and program/project management in addition to experience with gardening and herbal medicine. I would love to use my skills to support your project/dreams while deepening those skills in the process! Some areas that I would like to deepen my skills include carpentry, gardening, pottery, fabric arts, music, sustainable building/permaculture, and learning new languages.

I speak English and very basic Japanese :)

Alok's info:

I was born and went to school in the San Francisco Bay Area but am South Asian in ancestry. I have worked in the biopharma space for my entire career, primarily doing quality assurance work. I have some experience housesitting and caring for cats, houseplants, and gardens. I love watching movies, biking, getting better at typing, computer games, playing the piano, cooking, dancing, learning about history and science. my joy in life is connecting with others and making puns and word play :)

I speak English and conversational Gujarati as well as basic Spanish :)

We are currently vaccinated with the most up to date vaccine and boosters available
