✨ Hello! I'm Blair. I am from the US (Colorado). I am a seasoned traveler with a deep-rooted passion for immersing myself in the beauty of nature and connecting with beautiful souls along the journey.
I've been living in Wanaka for most of my time in NZ and am now spending my last few months of my visa exploring the North Island in my campervan and being a digital nomad.
My friends would describe me as a playful, determined, crafty and resourceful. I have a passion for creative innovation and a tenacity to make my visions of the betterment to my surroundings come to life. I love making spaces feel cozy, beautiful, and as optimally functional. and wish to add that creativity to any community I am welcomed into.
There's something incredibly fulfilling about making a positive impact, no matter how small, in someone's life or community. This has driven me to seek opportunities where I can contribute, learn, and grow, all the while sharing my own experiences and skills.
Through WorkAway, I'm eager to connect with hosts and communities across New Zealand and Australia . Whether it's lending a hand in eco-projects, attending to a hostel, assisting with day-to-day tasks, or simply sharing stories and skills, I'm ready to help and learn in any way I can.

In addition to my career experience, I have extensive experience in volunteering with special events, retreats, and festivals. I've volunteered at many summer music festivals helping with guest services, promoting the "leave no trace" philosophy with Green Teams and being an "angel" in the crowd looking for any attendees in need of assistance.
I helped my friends with a burning-man inspired retreat center called Everland for the last 3 years. We held epic parties and retreats there. It was a beautiful project center around creative expression and playfulness. It was my greatest joy bringing my silly ideas to life like helping plan an adult's summer camp party, leading a workshop as a dance fitness instructor at a women's retreat. It was a big collaborative project, so I helped wherever, however and with whatever needed help with from setting up/breaking down events, cook/clean, help with transportation, etc.
Oh and I have a bachelors in Integrative Healthcare and am very passionate about wellness.
