Hello there! I am a 48-year old retiree (yes, very fortunate in this regard) and aspiring olive farmer and come with some experience (four harvests under my belt). My family and I enjoy the outdoors, farming, and traveling. We've lived or traveled around the globe, which has enriched our cultural understanding. My "life2.0" is still developing, but I have always found joy working with my hands and helping others. Whether pruning, clearing brush, working a harvest, or just cooking a meal for our friends and family to enjoy, it brings me happiness. Anything out of an office building is a step in the right direction.
If you're looking for high drama or lots of opinions, I'm not your guy. I'm steady, funny, quick-witted, stoic, hard-working, and dependable. Up for a good conversation, card game, or perfectly happy writing or reading on my own. I'm a dad and husband first, but Workaway will be my chance to experience my other joys.

I am interested in learning all languages. I have some "getting by" phrases in a number of languages, but have not yet taken time to dedicate myself to learning one all the way through. I am excited to converse with and learn from others!
