Currently living in the North-West of England meaning I am in desperate need of sunshine! Wanting to travel somewhere peaceful but fun:)
Description
Hi my name is Betsy, I'm 19 (20 in October) and I live in the North of England! I'm currently in a year off, hopefully going to study nursing at university in September. With my next few months off before going back into education, I want to make the most of my time by exploring new places and engaging in new activities and cultures:) I'm very sociable and love having conversations with anyone I meet. I love spending time in nature especially if a scenic walk is involved! Any outdoor activities interest me, I can spend a lot of time in water whether it's kayaking down a river or swimming in a lake. Even though I love living in an urban area, I enjoy the peace and serenity of the countryside!
I love being busy whether this is having plans to meet friends, going to the gym or working. I've worked as a waitress/ barista for the last 3 years which has not only developed certain skills but also my love for food and drink! Outside of work, I love music and you'll often find me at music gigs, raves and festivals. Although I don't play any instruments, I'm always open to learning - I think music is something that everyone can bond over:) I have recently gotten back into reading and love discussing books with fellow readers, recommendations are always welcome!
I can't wait to see what adventures I can get up to and where I end up as well as who I meet along the way!

I would love to teach English! I am currently learning Spanish and would love to be taught more, I can speak minimal German but would like to expand my skills. Happy to learn any language:)

I have some DIY abilities as well as some knowledge and experience with gardening. I can cook and clean and conduct general domestic tasks:) I can look after pets (I have a dog myself and love taking him for walks and playing with him) and children with experience in babysitting for family friends.
