Description

Hello! We are Beatrice and Valeria, and we are excited to be part of the Workaway community!

We are friendly, motivated, and hardworking young women with a big heart and a strong passion for making a difference in the world. We are eager to contribute with our skills, energy, and enthusiasm to projects that align with our love for social causes and community building.

We are from Rome and we are really close friends as we attended the same university in Naples, Italy, where we studied International Relations and Language and Intercultural Communication. During our stay in the city, we also lived together and as a consequence we are well organised, responsible, clean and tidy.

We are particularly interested in volunteering opportunities that involve helping people, supporting local communities, or contributing to meaningful social initiatives, especially with women and children. Whether it’s lending a hand in community centers, organizing activities, or working on creative projects, we are ready to give our best and learn along the way.

We are also adaptable, open-minded, and always willing to try new things. We enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds, discovering new cultures, and sharing meaningful moments with others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Over the years, we have developed a range of skills that can be valuable for projects focused on community support, education, and social development. Here’s what we can bring to the table:

- Language Skills: We are fluent in English, Spanish, French and Arabic and have experience communicating with people from diverse backgrounds. We can help with language learning, translation, or simply bridging communication gaps.
- Organizational Abilities: I have experience in coordinating activities and event planning.
- Teaching and Mentoring: We enjoy working with children and young adults, whether it’s teaching basic skills, organizing educational workshops, or simply offering guidance and support (we teach Italian for immigrants in Rome).
- Hands-On Skills: we can cook and help with household tasks.
