Hi, I'm Alys and since graduating I have been travelling as much as possible!
I wish to meet new and interesting people, explore new places while learning about languages and culture. I have a keen interest in music, books and I enjoy cooking and baking (I can bake a mean batch of cookies), and more recently I have taken up wood carving!
Travelling genuinely excites me, and I always look forward to learning new skills and being a part of new experiences, while challenging myself along the way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked at a bed and breakfast for the past 4 years, in the kitchen preparing food, serving/interacting with customers, and cleaning rooms. I have a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, and have experience working in retail and as a safety marshal at an ice rink.
These experiences have equipped me with a well-rounded skill set that can be applied across a range of situations. I have recently completed my bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and while in university, I worked as a tutor for mathematics and English, providing guidance to younger students.
I also have experience with house/pet sitting, which has involved caring for dogs, cats, and chickens, as well as a background in stable maintenance and horse riding. In my spare time, I have helped with DIY and gardening on my parents' allotment, which we use to grow our own flowers and produce.
Recently I have really been wanting to learn more about wood working and practical DIY skills, aswell as beekeeping!
In addition to this, I am open to trying my hand at anything. I take my commitments seriously and pride myself on being someone who is trustworthy, and can be relied on to fulfil responsibilities to a high standard.
