A workaway holiday has been on my bucket list for over a decade, and finally I have made the time to do it! I have travelled to over 30 countries so far, via shoestring backpacking to ultra luxury - but I don't think they can offer what workaway travel could. I'm looking for a sense of community with other like-minded global citizens, learning about new cultures and real local lifestyle, and of course adding a real sense of purpose to travel.

Nothing makes me happier than travel, and after a rough couple of years, I'm looking for some life inspiration and human connection. Actually, coffee and good conversation is tied up there with travel regarding my happiness. I have major adhd regarding interests and know a little bit about a lot, and just want to fill my brain with more! But I'd say my top interests are anything related to psychology, geopolitics, travel, food, and anything automotive.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Elevator Pitch: I have many years of professional experience working in hospitality and construction project management. I've worked as front desk for 5-star Marriott properties and as a project coordinator on international residential and commercial projects upwards of hundreds of millions of dollars. I also have associate degrees in business administration and 3D architectural/building systems drafting.

Although I am not an engineer, after so many years on site and building/navigating 3D models, I have x-ray vision and a real sense of electrical and mechanical systems. I also rebuild vehicles as a hobby and absolutely love working on cars (as long as I have the right tools).

I may not a professional tradesperson, but I am not afraid of physical labour and I find it rewarding. I am 180cm tall and 90kg (200lbs). I also love troubleshooting issues, tinkering and fixing things around the house, car, electronics etc. (thanks to my late father who could fix literally anything). I always have a beginners mindset and learn quickly, work efficiently, and never half-ass anything.

I am also quite computer literate although not as clever as the gen-z's. I can build websites and online stores and manage social media, and I can even manage some electronic repairs.

I've lived as a bachelor for many years and have taken a real enjoyment to cooking (mostly Italian and American style but enjoy eating any style/culture!), and I love a clean, organized and tidy space. I also enjoy turning messy spaces into clean, organized and tidy ones and not afraid to get dirty!

I do not have any experience being responsible for children but I have many nieces and nephews and enjoy children being around (But I'm not really an ideal babysitter). I love animals, I am a major cat person but also adore dogs and I would love to experience more different types of animals!

I am a dual citizen of Canada & Italy and I own a home in both countries. I am single hetero with no children and am in the midst of a career/life pivot into a more meaningful life path and find my global citizen community
