Hi ☀️
I'm Asia, I'm 23 years old and I'm from Italy. 👣

I recently graduated in Psychology and I'm continuing my studies, specializing in Ethnopsychology. This field constantly invites me to discover different ways of understanding people, relationships, health, healing and culture. It has taught me that every person has a unique story worth listening to. 🫀

During the last year, something changed in me. I started travelling alone and joining group trips with complete strangers. What began as a challenge soon became one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Since then I've explored Ireland, Portugal, Spain, the Canary Islands, France and England, creating deep friendships with people from different backgrounds and discovering that feeling at home has much more to do with human connection than with a place. 🌻

I always travel with my camera. Photography has become my way of slowing down and paying attention: to landscapes, people, small details and everyday moments. Every journey has taught me something new about the world, about others and about myself. I love sharing these experiences, but I also love listening to other people's stories with genuine curiosity and an open mind. ✨

I grew up in the Italian countryside, where my father runs a pig farm and a vegetable garden. Since I was little I've always been surrounded by animals—dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits and many others—so caring for them has always been a natural part of my everyday life. I also genuinely enjoy spending time with children because I love sharing their sense of wonder, curiosity and lightness. Even though I've spent the last few years studying in the city, nature is still the place where I feel most like myself. I love hiking, camping, spending time outdoors and learning practical skills from the people I meet. ⭐️

I'm especially interested in sustainable lifestyles, permaculture, community living and projects that reconnect people with nature and each other. I enjoy manual work, taking care of animals, gardening, cooking together, creative projects and helping wherever I'm needed. I'm adaptable, responsible and genuinely enjoy contributing to everyday life rather than simply passing through. 🌱

For me, Workaway isn't just a way to travel. It's a way to share daily life, exchange perspectives and create meaningful relationships. I believe every encounter can change us a little, and I hope to leave every place having contributed with kindness while carrying home new stories, new skills and a broader way of seeing the world. 🌷

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a creative and hardworking person, always happy to help and learn something new. I have experience with farm work, animal care , gardening, and outdoor activities like camping and hiking. I'm used to physical work and love being outside in nature.

I also have experience working in restaurants, which helped me develop strong people skills, the ability to handle stress, and work efficiently in fast-paced environments. I enjoy being in contact with people and offering a helpful and friendly presence.

I enjoy drawing and expressing myself creatively, and I’m also comfortable spending time with children and helping with childcare when needed. I have a driver’s license and feel comfortable driving when needed.

Beyond practical help, I’m someone who loves connecting with others — I’m empathetic, curious about different cultures, and eager to contribute with both hands and heart.
