We are Ari and Xavi, a Colombo-Catalan couple traveling in South America
We enjoy getting to know new places, people, languages, and cultures. We are open-minded people who love to learn by doing! We are especially interested in permaculture, medicinal plants, and bioconstruction.

Ari is a cheerful and adventurous biologist with a great desire to learn and teach her knowledge to the world. She loves to sing, cook and ride her bicycle. Being in contact with nature and music is essential for her.

Xavi is a restless explorer who seeks to learn about alternative ways of living in harmony with nature. He loves outdoor activities such as climbing and hiking. Nature is his passion, and he enjoys working the land and caring for animals.

Doing our bit to make this world a more sustainable and better place is our life's goal.

Somos Ari y Xavi, una pareja colombo-catalana viajando actualmente por Sudamérica.

Nos encanta conocer nuevos lugares, personas, idiomas y culturas. Somos personas con la mente abierta y nos encanta aprender haciendo. Nos interesan especialmente la permacultura, las plantas medicinales y la bioconstrucción.

Ari es una bióloga alegre y aventurera con muchas ganas de aprender y enseñar sus conocimientos al mundo. Le encanta cantar, cocinar y montar en bicicleta. Estar en contacto con la naturaleza y la música es esencial para ella.

Xavi es un explorador inquieto que busca aprender formas alternativas de vivir en armonía con la naturaleza. Le encantan las actividades al aire libre, como la escalada y el senderismo. La naturaleza es su pasión y disfruta trabajando la tierra y cuidando de los animales.

Contribuir a hacer de este mundo un lugar mejor y más sostenible es nuestro objetivo de vida.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Ari is a biologist, and although she specializes in molecular biology, she knows about crop management, pest management, and she knows a lot about medicinal plants. He is currently studying a specialisation in herbal medicine.
She is a very creative person, and she can always bring new ideas or solutions to problems.
She loves music, actually, she has been in bands as a singer and plays charango.
She is very good at cooking and knows a lot about Ayurveda. She also likes to try new ideas in the kitchen and they usually come out very well.
She is good at writing and editing texts.

Xavi studied industrial engineering and has always been very interested in eco-technologies such as bioconstruction, solar photovoltaic installations, hydraulic installations, etc.
He has experience with the family vegetable garden and enjoys caring for animals. He is always willing to lend a hand with gardening tasks. He also loves to cook and prepare delicious dishes together with Ari.
He is passionate about mountain activities and loves to organize hiking and climbing trips with friends.

We value very much any opportunity we have to learn something new, and we always try to do our best :)

Ari es bióloga y, aunque tenga más conocimientos en biología molecular, sabe manejar cultivos, manejar plagas y conoce bastante de plantas medicinales. Actualmente está cursando una especialización en herbología.
Es una persona muy creativa y puede aportar siempre nuevas ideas o soluciones a problemas.
Le encanta la música, ha estado en bandas como cantante y toca charango.
La cocina se le da muy bien, sabe hacer postres y tortas riquísimas, también le gusta probar ideas nuevas en la cocina y por lo general salen muy bien.
Es buena escribiendo y redactando textos.

Xavi estudió ingeniería industrial y siempre le han interesado mucho las ecotecnologías como la bioconstrucción, las instalaciones solares fotovoltaicas, instalaciones hidráulicas, etc.
Tiene experiencia con la huerta familiar y le gusta cuidar animales. Siempre está dispuesto a echar una mano en tareas de jardinería. También le encanta cocinar y preparar ricos platos junto con Ari.
Es un apasionado de la montaña y le encanta organizar rutas de senderismo y alpinismo con los amigos.

Valoramos mucho cualquier oportunidad que tenemos para aprender algo nuevo y siempre ponemos todo nuestro empeño para dar lo mejor de nosotros mismos.
