Hello! I'm Apeksha from the UK and I plan to be travelling around Asia as much as possible in the next year or so.
I'm a nature lover and some of my favourite things to do are birdwatching and hiking.
I studied engineering at university and worked in industry for a year, then the last few years I have worked in consulting. I decided to leave the corporate world to try and have a lifestyle that aligns better with my values and so that I can explore more places, and travel slowly however I can...
I have also have had multiple roles working and volunteering with children (such as being an au pair in France, youth worker in Portugal, outdoor education for an environmental charity), and in wildlife conservation (with local UK organisations).
I am looking for immersive experiences that allow me to connect to a culture, learn new skills, and meet other travellers along the way :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My native language is English. I have a level B1 in French. I also know some Italian and I would like to learn Spanish.

I studied chemical engineering at university and worked in industry for a year in manufacturing, then the last few years I have worked in consulting for construction projects, I am proficient in Microsoft Excel from being an analyst dealing with large sets of data.

I have worked and volunteered with children in a number of roles with a range of ages (2-17), (such as being an au pair in France where I stayed with a family and took care of the children, youth worker in Portugal which involved implementing workshops and classes in schools, library and community work, outdoor education for an environmental charity to help children learn about nature).

I have lots of experience volunteering in wildlife conservation with organisations in the UK.
In terms of practical skills I have done nature conservation which included planting trees, cutting invasive species, creating a bee bank, making hedges, using tools such as loppers, spade, shears, rake. So I am interesting in outdoor work including farming.
