We’re currently cycling around Africa and are always eager to meet up with fellow travellers. We’re up for anything, particularly if it is outdoors.

Description

We’re Annie and Will, long-term partners who love spending time outdoors and travelling slowly, usually by bicycle. We’re curious, practical, and care deeply about community, fairness, and connection. We enjoy experiences that let us learn from others and participate fully in local life.

Slow travel helps us interact more meaningfully with people, observe daily life, and be mindful of our impact. We don’t see travel as an escape or a checklist

Volunteering fits naturally into our travels. It’s a way to be useful, learn through doing, and contribute to everyday life. We enjoy helping with tasks such as gardening, cooking, DIY, teaching, and always look forward to learning from the people we meet. We're excited to contribute our time and effort, and to learn from the people we meet.

Outside of travelling, we both enjoy simple, everyday things. We like cooking and sharing meals, spending time outdoors, and playing board and card games (we’re always happy to learn new ones). We’re practical, hands-on people and enjoy tasks that involve fixing, building, organising, or helping things run smoothly.

We’re comfortable living simply, working as part of a team, and adapting to new routines. We’re also respectful of shared spaces and used to communal living. Most of all, we’re easy-going, curious, and happy to get stuck in wherever we’re most useful.
