I am a retired Registered nurse.
My husband passed away a little over a year ago.
I find it difficult to manage some of the outside and inside chores to be done.
I live on the water and have a 3 bedroom 3 bath home.
A large yard with a riding lawnmower.
3 large veggie garden beds that need to be planted.
As well many flower gardens to be weeded.
Also small jobs like touch up paint etc.
I would love to have someone who is able to assist with these things and be tidy in his or her room in my home.
They can have the use of the home as well while here.
I am retired.
And would welcome the company.
Ideally it would be great if someone could be here in the summer months.
And it give them an opportunity to see Nova Scotia at its best.
It is a beautiful place to explore.
I live on the water and a 2 minute walk to the beach.
Very lovely little town called Lahave.
15 minutes from Lunenburg.
An hour and 15 minutes from Halifax.
The nearest town is Bridgewater 15 minutes away as well in the other direction.
I have kayaks and close to the yacht club.
I live beside an old Fort and lighthouse and Sea captain cemetery.
I have a split level with 2 bedrooms and a livingroom and bathroom downstairs.
Also a separate entrance.
So certainly time to oneself if needed.
I enjoy cooking ,but also love to learn new foods from others who want to share in the cooking.
We are fortunate to have a Farmers market in Lunenburg with all the fresh meat and veggies.
But love to grow my own in my raised garden beds.
I do not smoke and would prefer someone who didn't smoke.
Only outside if necessary.
I have 2 very friendly cats as well.

In my neighborhood we are very involved with saving our shorefront.
As with constant erosion from the waves.
We offer many opportunities to learn about Nova Scotia at the old Acadian Fort.
It holds many interesting dances , speakers on many culteral topics and music .
As well as Indigenous culture.

I would love help with touching up paint on doors,yard work ,planting a veggie garden.
Weeding gardens
Mowing my large yard . I do have a ride on mower
And just small jobs in the home I can't do on my own.
Like fix a hinge on a door etc.

I am a novice when it comes to different languages. But welcome the opportunity to learn any new language .
Hébergement
A completed basement. With 2 bedrooms and a full bath. Shared kitchen and Laundry.
It is a very large living space with a large TV and comfy furniture.
I would provide meals,or if you prefer to help or make your own meals. I have a well equipped kitchen.

I happy to do the cooking,or cook together. Or if preferred you can always use the kitchen and create your food . I will maintain a well stocked fridge.

I live within 10 minutes of 3 different beaches.
Great local pub.
Plus Lunenburg itself.
Home of the bluenose and many pubs and sight seeing options.
