Let me start things of with Goodday to the person reading my introduction for hopefully a place in your company. My name is Anne i am 23 and I've always dreamed of travelling the world but in this day and age who hasn't. With workaway I found out I can not only learn but exchange knowledge with all different cultures, and beside that working in a hostel has lately been an big interest of mine.

my asperations in life is to discover the most beautiful places on earth and share the most wonderful experiences. ive always loved working with people ecspecially people who are on a vacation because they are looking for an experience and a memory to last them a life time

Kind, compassionate, hard working and eager to learn in the way of exploring. I started my first travel adventure 3 years ago to panama and absolutely loved it there not just the country but the full travel experience. I heard so many great things about costa rica that i now have to see it but for a longer experience. Only to travel you unfortunately never seem to have enough time to see it all. That's why hopefully workaway can help me with finding a hostel to work and stay at to experience my dreams a little longer.

Hi, my name is Romee and I’m 22 years old. I would love to start a new adventure with my good friend Anne.

I want to see more of the world, and this seems like a great opportunity. I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone and staying active. I’m good with my hands and definitely don’t mind doing physical work. I’m a very kind and grounded person.

I also think it would be exciting to learn a new language and discover the culture of the country.

Learning and getting better in a language is I think on everybody's list, to be able to understand as many languages is a step closer to connecting with the world. To understand Spanish and speak it fluently is a goal to us. Exchanging knowledge in languages is something which we are really interested in.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Capabilities: versatile, durable and very good with people especially figuring out what they want or need and making sure that they have the best experience. Since I was old enough too work I've always been at the same job at Van der Valk as an hostes/waitress/bartender i have worked at this hotel and restaurant for 8 years rising in the company and loving the feeling of hospitality. That's why I also participated in a study of leisure and hospitality. Where i did an internship for 6 months living in a resort where I was part of the entertainment team and checking in the guests. I also have had many jobs while working on my main one as a sales person. And at the theme park: Archeon which focused on historical events explaining and giving tours to the guests.

Let me tell you about the things I’ve have done and learned. I have four years of experience in the hospitality industry, where I was responsible for managing two boats. During that time, I developed many valuable skills, such as working effectively and dealing with a wide variety of people.

Before working in hospitality, I did several different things. I completed three vocational programs, including a construction course where I was trained as an all-round worker — from electrical engineering to bricklaying.

I also completed a military program (non-combat), which I combined with my construction training. During this time, I had the opportunity to do internships with the Ministry of Defence, where I learned how to build things with limited materials. As part of this program, I took part in a wonderful project in Bosnia, where we helped renovate part of a school. We also spent time talking and playing with the children, and went on several excursions to learn more about the country’s history.

In addition, I completed a hospitality course, where I gained a lot of knowledge that I have applied in my work.

As you can see, I love learning new things and taking on different challenges — something I would love to continue doing while traveling and exploring the world.

hobbies: playing all sorts of games and some times making our own. hiking and exploring is also well up our range and we love to climb.
boxing, baking, yoga and free diving are some things we already do but our very intereted in getting better at.
