Hellooo☀️
My name is Elli. I am 23 and studying psychology in Bamberg, Germany. It’s the city where I feel at home.
Over the past few years, one of my biggest passions has been working with people, especially children. I've worked at a school for children with disabilities, in regular schools, and in a women's shelter as well as babysitting and doing an auPair. I think there is always so much to learn from children :)
At the same time, I simply love meeting new people and being part of a community. That's why I'd also be really happy to do a Workaway in a hostel or community space. I enjoy spending time with others, sharing stories, learning from different perspectives.
I also love arts, and everything that has to do with it.I love drawing, painting, crafting, and pretty much anything that lets me make something with my hands. Being creative makes me feel happy.
In my free time, I love being outdoors. Hiking, swimming, taking long walks, or just sitting somewhere in nature with a good view are some of my favourite ways to spend a day. But I also love going out dancing and having fun with friends! I enjoy cooking, and I even find cleaning quite relaxing—it helps me clear my mind:)

In general , I would describe myself as an open-minded, easy-going, and curious person. I love getting to know new people, hearing their stories, and learning about different ways of life.

For me, travelling isn't just about seeing beautiful places—it's about the people you meet along the way. I'd love to experience Italian culture, improve my Italian, contribute wherever I can, and hopefully leave with new friendships and unforgettable memories. I can't wait to meet you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I believe I can work quite independently depending on the task and always motivated to learn new things.
As explained above I've gained experience working with children. I've learned to be patient, responsible, empathetic, and creative when spending time with them.
But I´m also happy to help with everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and housekeeping, and I enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere and connecting with new people. I also like organizing creative activities and would be excited to help with events or community life in a hostel. I'm a quick learner and always happy to try something new, especially when it comes to gardening, DIY projects, or other practical hands-on work.

I believe in community and though I also need some alone time every now and then I would always prefer to get to know the people I’m staying with and not just live side by side because it’s convenient. Looking forward to meeting you!

  I am living mostly vegan when I’m on my own but depending on the circumstances I am also flexible. Although some things upset my stomach sometimes as I’m not really used to eating a lot of eggs anymore for example.
