*UPDATED* S.o.s. Looking for a ‘copilot’ 🤣 in beautiful Apulian countryside
We are a funny and not too ordinary family living in the countryside of Polignano a mare, (Apulia, south of Italy). We love nature and we care about respecting the environment, we live with one amazing dog and many cats outdoor. I have been living for a long time studying and working in the north of Italy, Spain and Uk. Our kids are 8 and 6 years old and they always smile -almost always :-D
I need someone to stay with me helping organising the house and with general tasks. Also taking care of the pets and the garden (picking up olives, harvesting, cleaning and other tasks).
You would have your own bedroom (could be shared with another volunteer) and 2 days off ;-)

We speak both Italian and Spanish so you can learn 2 languages staying with us.
You will learn Italian cuisine and you will enjoy Italian lifestyle :)
The countryside is very relaxing and when you want to have fun town is the perfect place, you will meet a lot of funny people.

Aide
We need one Volunteer for a long stay (at least a few months) to help basically staying with me while I am organising and doing stuffs at home, shopping around or working, for 4-5 hours per day 5 days a week. Helping around the house would be also appreciated :) You will always be both with me and the kids in the helping hours. And of course speaking English with us, I think this would be a great benefit for the kids, although their young age.
We also need a second volunteer with DIY skills who could help with general tasks around the old house, and small eco projects. And if you like gardening you will find lots of things to do!
We will see and of course we will choose together the best solution for everyone :)

Hébergement
When available, You would have a bedroom with a double bed. If not, During summer we set up a tent in the garden, with mattress, pillow, sheets and blanket. At the moment I am very busy at work so I can't always cook for us, but I would provide food for volunteers and they could use kitchen whenever they want.

Our town is unique, the sea is very beautiful with peculiar caves to see, and there are many places to visit around Polignano a mare, such as Alberobello, Valle d'Itria, Ostuni, Monopoli, Lecce and Salento area. You could get there by renting a car or by taking a train.
We don't have internet access at home but we have free wifi at the bar.

Luciano helped us in many ways, at home (house keeping and pets) and at the bar (cooking and serving tables). He is definitely a hard worker.
