Hi there,

We are Franzi (25) and Anna (22), both from Germany. We’ve both been to New Zealand for a couple of months and met in Auckland. Ever since then, we’ve been traveling together, currently we’re exploring the South Island together.



Back in Germany, I (Franzi) studied to become a teacher and worked in a hotel for the past year. I grew up in a small village with many farms and surrounded by nature and always loved helping my parents with their garden, so I would say that I have some basic knowledge when it comes to plants. In addition, I used to ride horses for more than 10 years. After my A-levels, I went to South Africa and volunteered there in a National Park, where I helped to keep the reserve intact by mending streets, cutting trees etc.

Here in New Zealand, I already did some wwoofing on a farm/nursery where I mostly did weeding and took care of vegetables and herbs.

I would love to learn more about farming which is why I‘d like to get to know different areas. I am interested in vegetable/fruit/herbs farming, bees, but also in horse ranches.

Plus, I am interested on learning new perspectives on sustainable living as I try to live more and more environmentally friendly.



I (Anna) gratuated highschool 2022. After that I did an internship in a forensic back in Germany. And then I travelled for 5 months in Spain, Ireland and Scotland.

In Spain, I worked on different horse farms and helped with animal care and cooking/helping with the kids.

I worked in Ireland on a Stud farm as a groom for 4 months in the foal season.

Now, I‘m traveling again and I did some gardening in a family in Mangawhai/housesitting and taking care of the animals.

We both can help you in cooking, gardening and animal care.

Anna (me) can also help with babysitting/horse riding.

Franzi is also very expienced as a receptionist and could help in this area.

We are open for new tasks as well and try to help you, where we can :)
