Hello everyone 🙂

My name is Angeliki, I am Greek and for the last two years, I’ve been living on Crete island. Very soon at the end of October 2023, I will be leaving behind the standard way of living (for good this time I hope 🤞), meaning the interconnected one with materialism and self-indulgence, and be a peaceful and useful activist. I managed to sell all my stuff, to prepare a backpack with only the very necessary items and I am ready to be part of a different world, which first starts within me.

Into this journey, I am aiming to explore and live a simpler fulfilling way of living, closer to our Mother Nature, by learning from her and from the people who treat her with all respect and gratitude, I want to be part of and contribute to communities that live out their principles, that regenerate their social and natural environment, increase their sense of belonging and purpose as a community. In previous years, I participated in different workaway projects for instance, building mud huts in a forest retreat in India or teaching team-building activities to kids who live in the cordillera tribes of the Philippines, these were all so precious experiences that taught me to always stay and become more altruistic regardless of what I receive, as I believe that the fulfillment of the soul lies in giving to other beings and to nature.

Now I would love to find myself in the natural fields and learn about permaculture methods, gardening, touching the soil, getting dirty, learning to create things with my hands, DIY, arts and crafts, doing teamwork.
I am also interested in involving and contributing to children, connecting and playing with them in team-building games or team sports, where we all have fun and exercise, becoming enthusiastic children. If I am lucky, I would love to learn about alternative education, related to emotional intelligence, empathy, connecting with ourselves, others, and nature, improvising, innovating, giving and sharing, practicing solidarity, etc.
What else do I love, I love music and singing music or dancing to music as nobody watching, both arts are very spiritual and liberating. I would like to practice more at some point ))
Most of all I always love and look for new things to learn and ways to grow and evolve into the best version of myself 🙂
Lately, I have been trying to learn a meditation practice as I believe this helps me to get more rooted in my balance.
I’m not sure if that’s enough for a first impression but hopefully it’s enough to get in contact - I'm much looking forward to hearing from you 🙂
