Hello everybody! My name is Amelie, 31 years old and I work as a doctor in Germany. I signed up on workaway because I want to use this summer for spending some quality time outside in nature, seeing new places, meeting nice people and doing practical work. I am in love with goats and other farm animals and my biggest dream is to escape city life and have my own goats and produce cheese one day. But I need more inspiration and skills for this, so that's why I'm here and willing to soak up all the knowledge you've got :) Apart from goats, I like hiking, running, art museums, deep conversations and reading. I might not be the physically strongest person on this planet, but i can make up for it with responsibility, quick learning and pretty decent cooking and especially baking skills. Also i really enjoy learning languages. Happy to meet you soon! :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied medicine and have been working in a university hospital for over two years now, so you can tell I have a lot of persistance and I can work under stressful circumstances (which i still hope not to encounter all to often during my time with workaway haha), also I can learn quickly and adapt to new situations quite well. I have a decent amount of gardening and animal care experience, but i would like to expand that in the next months, that's why I am here. I like helping people and I am interested in healthy, sustainable and mostly vegetarian food and I would say I am quite a good cook:)
