I started traveling solo at 12: three months in Ireland with a local host family, mainly to learn English. Two years later I did the same in New Jersey.
At 17 I spent my fourth year of high school in Kraków, Poland, where I learned to love a fast-and-loose way of traveling: sleeping anywhere, a train, a station, a tent, or someone’s couch, as long as I kept moving.
I kept going, mostly on my own, and met wonderful people along the way. That curiosity for culture, landscapes, and art took me to Fuerteventura for two months, where I volunteered in a surfers’ hostel.
I’ve always had a sincere, authentic interest in these experiences: a strong desire to make a difference in others’ lives and to contribute my time and skills for a positive impact. Passion and enthusiasm matter to me, and I’m excited to be part of communities that share that energy.
Volunteering has been transformative: I embrace challenges and see it as a space for continuous learning and self-improvement. Helping others brings me real joy and fulfillment, and it gives me a deep sense of purpose and happiness.
I’m genuinely passionate about traveling and experiencing new cultures, and it’s meaningful to witness positive changes in individuals, communities and to work alongside like-minded people who share the same drive.
My latest trip lasted six months and was my first time in the Far East: I lived in Hong Kong and visited China, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam: accepting rides from kind strangers, hiking a lot, and traveling with a big appetite for discovery!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In the past, I've had several volunteering experiences, including some abroad. One notable was during my year in Poland, where I led various cultural projects such as teaching Italian, organizing events, and assisting maladjusted children. Additionally, I participated in volunteering activities in Italy, with my primary role being an AFS volunteer. This involved helping both international students coming to Italy and Italian students going abroad.
Also, I was involved in organising a summer camp aimed at creating a nurturing artistic and cultural environment for children. More recently, I volunteered for a music festival in Milan. The tasks involved a wide range of responsibilities, including transportation of materials, providing general assistance with tickets, and cleaning.
Considering my skills, I possess of communication, teamwork, problem-solving, time management, organisation, adaptability, flexibility, leadership, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
I've also developed specific technical skills over the years, particularly in event planning, photography, and video editing given my last two jobs in the art field.
Overall, my volunteering experiences made me capable of taking on various tasks and adapting to different situations.

I am passionate about traveling and immersing myself in new environments, as it allows me to explore diverse cultures and embrace my adventurous and open-minded nature. My main passion is analog photography: over the past three years I've been shooting with 35mm cameras. It truly excites me to freeze significant moments in time through photographs.
I'm also able to play ukulele and engage in painting, both of which I enjoy doing outdoors, as I've a deep connection with nature. These creative outlets provide me with a sense of joy and allow me to express myself.
Furthermore, I would love to learn any new interesting hobby!
