Hi! I’m Alice (25), searching for travel, community and nature!
I am currently travelling in Australia and am looking for summer work opportunities within the UK on my return.
I am a fun, outgoing person that loves to travel and immerse myself into new and different cultures. I love meeting new people and am kind and respectful to folks from all walks of life. I am looking for Workaways to spend more time outdoors, learn new skills but most importantly meet likeminded people in amazing places!
I love outdoorsy activities! One of my biggest passions is surfing and generally being by the sea. I also love nature so hiking, climbing and wild swimming are also some of my hobbies. I also like going to see live music, reading, and chatting over a drink with friends.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Having trained as a mechanical engineer, I have excellent technical and problem solving skills which I feel would be very transferable to many different roles. I also have a good knowledge of computers, excel spreadsheets, etc.
I also have a good amount of hospitality experience, having worked a variety of front of house, kitchen porter and waitress roles.
Most importantly, I am very hard working, easy to get along with and have a can-do attitude. I am always happy to muck in, get my hands dirty and am eager to do hands on work! I generally pick things up quickly as I’m a good listener.
I’m particularly keen in putting my skills to use in the outdoors and nature. I would love to learn more about gardening, forestry and woodworking/carpentry.
Also with my engineering background, I’d love to build more hands on skills in general maintenance, mechanic, marine/boat maintenance and deckhand roles.
